This stunning new apartment community in San Mateo, CA, has a bit of an exotic feel in the architecture with curved entryways, Moroccan-style tile, and romantic signature color. It was a real springboard for the creative. “The architecture reminded us of the movie Casablanca starring Humphrey Bogart and the community’s signature pops of color. We recommended the name Azara because it has a unique international flair, passion for life, and literally means the color red,” says p11’s Jasvina Gill. P11 created the vision book & positioning, naming study, identity design, website design, signs, displays, and much more.
